      Howdy.

Sorry to hear about it. I’d rather not have to ever meet anyone that and to do this stuff. You know, in a because it didn’t exist kind of way.

Hello. I stumbled on this site looking for more information and to connect with other families. My daughter, Reese was diagnosed with ALL in January. She was 2.5 then. She just celebrated her 3 birthday last month.

    Hello Mama of Isa,
I am grandmother of Izzy. Diagnosed 3 weeks ago with ALL. Izzy is 3 years old with the attitude of a truck driver. Very tiny for her age, at least she was. Now that she is on steroids it looks like this new little gal ate Izzy. I do not know how to post or really do any computer stuff. But I can’t find an answer to this question. It hurts for izzy to walk , when will she start walking on her own again. It is hard to hold her because it hurts her, because her bones hurt.

      Debbie:

They will get better but she has about 2 and 1/2 years of treatments. Some days are better than others. Sorry that she hurts and it is hard for you too. The way we want to be supportive, hugging, hurts and that causes us to feel bad. Be with her, sit with her, and remember to breathe. Each child is different. Good luck.

I stumbled upon your blog. I have bookmarked it because I want to know what I have to look forward to with my son who has been diagnosed with Leukemia ALL in July, 2010. Where are you guys located? I am glad to see Isa is doing so well. It gives us hope 🙂

Wishing Isa was still doing so well. If you have any questions please send an email! Good luck with treatment.

Have you heard of mangosteen as a possible adjunct therapy? Go to http://www.pubmed.gov for the scientific evidence. I would like to contact anyone interested for more information. Thanks.

    Hi guys,

I was just thinking about and thought I would check in and see how things have been going. So sorry to hear about lack of Zofran and the effects because of it. I see new outfits were in order. Think of you often. Please know that if you would like to talk just to blow off steam or whatever I am here. Continuing to keep you in our prayers.

    Take care,

    Laura

Thanks Laura! We’re doing a bit better in long term maintenance, even with the occasional mishap. Long road, no meds in May 2011 assuming all goes well.

Hi, I am a friend of Quinn’s momma Rachel. I just wanted to say hi and let you know that you have another friend out in the world. I have known Rachel and Quinn when she was first pregnant with her. Rachel told me about Isa and I hope I can help in anyway. (if you cannot think of anything, I can be here if you need someone to talk to or even if you just need someone to scream at)
I will be thinking of you and your family.
    Just another mom..Debbie

Wow, thanks Debbie. I just looked at Quinn’s site tonight, and realized something that R.was telling me a long time ago. Isa & Quinn have the same diagnosis date. Not exactly, but sort of. Isa was technically diagnosed on Jan 12, but not officially until Jan 14. Split the difference and you’ve got the 13.

Please contact me as soon as possible. I have some great news for your family regarding a generous donation! Hopefully this will cover the filters, duct cleaning and then some.

    Best
    Elizabeth
