You would think that after over 14 blood transfusions that I would be sick of seeing a pale faced child with dark circles.
Vampire: a wholly different type of pale.

Great to see a fun version of pale. We made it…Sam is done. Trouble is..so am I! Done with it all and sick of it too….I know you felt this way…does it get better?
Yes, it does get better, but then you start looking for the other shoe!! Like today Isa has a blood nose. I am wondering.. Is this a regular kid bloody nose? Or is this a platelets too low and need to see someone bloody nose? Yes being off-treatment brings its own sets of worries. The other weird thing is that we started to think about us again. So it made a lot of things rocky. Like jobs, housing, relationships, everything went sort of off kilter and it takes a bit to recover. Woot for being done with treatment.
