Day 30, Delayed Intensification
The home dose of Ara-c went well this morning. Isa took the longest nap. No one ate their lunch, and miraculously, it showed up again for dinner. Isa succumbed yet her sister did not.
Isa wore her pajamas all day, except for the bottoms because her pull-up leaked and those were covered with cytotoxic piss. Besides being the name of Money’s new band, Cytotoxic Piss is supposed to be cleaned up immediately. I covered it with a towel and went back to sleep.
Besides freaking out about mold, live vaccines received by children at birthday parties and the other sundry concerns I have yet to be hauled away for commitment. Luckily, I am married to Money or I likely would. He tolerates crazy well.
Isa seems well this evening. She took her medicine well and went to bed. I’ve considered allowing G to sleep on the top bunk. Because I am going back and forth and Money is going back and forth I’ve done what all unsure humans do when faced with a decision. Nothing.
Thanks for reading. Remember Tyler Genneken in your prayers tonight. He is doing poorly, 12% blasts in blood, 0 ANC, and no match is in sight for a bone marrow transplant.

Praying for Tyler. I love to hear about your uneventful days (as compared to your extra busy, extra stressful, extra sad days). It is nice to know your family is given a day now and again that doesn’t lead to much to report. Does that even make sense?
p.s. Cytotoxic Piss is a kick-ass band name! Do they need an apprentice? I have someone in mind.
Wouldn’t it suck to be a teenager with cancer. The uneventful ones are nice, but not really newsworthy so glad that you’re still reading! Not sure band members apprentice, so maybe they have some other name for it.
